Multi-Monitoring System FAQ

Why do measurements taken at different times on the same day vary?

Test values in the blood (such as ketone, total cholesterol, uric acid) are dynamic and influenced by diet, exercise, medication timing, stress levels, and even sleep. It is recommended to measure under consistent conditions each day (e.g., fasting or two hours after a meal) for more meaningful trend analysis.

How long does it take to test ketone, uric acid, and total cholesterol?

The system is exceptionally fast. After inserting a strip and applying a tiny blood sample (1.0 μL for Ketone and Uric Acid, 2.5 μL for Total Cholesterol), the results will be displayed on the screen in just 10 seconds for Ketone, 15 seconds for Uric Acid, and 26 seconds for Total Cholesterol.

What should I notice when switching between different test items?

BeneCheck Knight is a multi-functional system; please ensure you are using the correct strip corresponding to the test item. The meter usually identifies the strip type automatically and displays the relevant symbol. Additionally, when using a new box of strips, check if you need to verify the Code or insert a Code Card to ensure the meter parameters match the strip batch. If you have concerns about the results, you can use the original control solution (sold separately) to check if the meter and strips are functioning correctly.
